I’ve had my car now for two months and even though I love it there is one thing that has been a persistent problem...CARPLAY!
It worked for a little while then all of a sudden it just quit on me. I’ve done every sort of troubleshooting that I could find and did get it to work once but now when I plug the phone in, my car isn’t recognized. The last time it stopped was when I updated my iOS. Called Apple and they sent the issue to the techs who got back to me and we went through 6-7 different troubleshooting options and none worked. They said I need to go to the Apple store to do further troubleshooting.
Then I realized that the infotainment system is out of date (pic attached of my current version). Went into the mapnsoft site, but it won’t let me register my car, saying that my car isn’t in the system or it was entered incorrectly. Contacted them and still haven’t heard anything!
Should I go back to the dealer and insist that they get this update for me or wait for mapnsoft to get back to me? I’m running out of options here.
