I hope they continue with this new look for the rest of the components.

I also found that the car will now coast a ton more. Maybe the old system had an issue in telling the trans to coast but in ECO I coast almost every time I lift my foot off now. I don't think I ever got a COASTING message on the old firmware.

Lastly, as already mentioned, you get lane guidance even when not under navigation.

I'm in MS. Same hot and humid weather. Damn humidity is a killer. A few years ago I was in Vegas and the temps were around 100. My friends from up north were dying. I was perfectly fine. Of course that's still hot but it's such a different feel. Not draining like here. It's no wonder we're so lazy in the south. Too damn hot and humid to do anything. Then in the winter it's such a change that we're literally freezing our asses off. Why the hell do I still live here...

I ask myself the same thing. Savannah sucks. But my job is so awesome. I get to work and fly on the ultimate in speed in luxury, Gulfstream airplanes. So, I suck it up and deal with summers.......

But since there is a COASTING flag set through the HMI they could make a change. Maybe there was a bug that wasn't really setting this flag in the trans control unit correctly. Just a thought.

I am not driving the car any differently and I never had it coast before. I even tried to get it to coast by lifting off on down side of hills and zip. Even on level ground I get COASTING messages now and can see the RPMs drop to idle.

Just got my G70 and pretty sure it doesn't have the 13.5 update. So, how do I find what version I do have...the pathway, please. And, if there already is a SD card installed with the "old" map, where is that card located? Thanks.

Thanks. I had done that, and when I entered my VIN as part of the version request, got an alert stating that either I entered the wrong VIN, or I haven't registered. Both incorrect as I was registered and it was the correct VIN. Then called Genesis Connected. They confirmed the correctness of my registration/VIN, but the person helping couldn't come up with why I was being rejected by Mapsoft. So, she's calling out for more help from their next level. If it wasn't Memorial Day holiday and if we weren't in the almost middle of a terrible hurricane, I'd call the dealership to find out what's wrong. Will have to wait until Wednesday or Thursday, depending on how Dorian behaves.

Just to let you know that the new map v13.0 from MapNSoft is available. Was anounced since early April but not available until this weekend, I ordered mine and received the SD card today, installed on my G70 in around 25 minutes. Lets see what improvements has over v12.5.

How do you order the new SD card ? I don’t think I’ve done any updates since I picked up the car in April so I should probably get on that
