Add me to the list of not thinking I'd use the HUD. It's also super unimpressive the first time you see it with just the digital speed showing. For those who don't know/haven't seen one it has:
Digital speed, Lane line icons for lane keep assist status, Smart cruise distance setting, Lead car icon when SCC senses a car in front, (This is my favorite) when the car is actively slowing to follow the lead car the set speed shows up over the lead car icon!!!, Blind spot monitoring, FCW/AEB indicator when active, Volume adjustment, Audio mode change visual, Turn by turn nav directions that are excellent. I think that's it. The auto journos pretty much agree that this is the second best system on the market (to BMWs) and I absolutely love it now! (I even tilt my head when wearing polarized sunglasses to see stuff on the HUD vs glancing down at the cluster!)
To me AA/CP are super useful when travelling in a new area (where you likely flew in and got a rental car anyway) so while I absolutely love it when I travel, I absolutely don't miss it in my own 5.0 Ultimate. I'd rather utilize the slightly outdated nav and HUD integration (especially with the super smooth HD infotainment display.
Among other things, the adaptive suspension is great (praying it doesn't break) the power trunk is nice (especially for those who used to have an SUV with a power liftgate) and let's not forget about the illuminated sill plates.
