Well...I guess it depends on what iOS you have...LOL. But widgets have been around for a while.Beefer,
iPhone ignorant here! How do I get to a "widget screen. Is there a specific widget app I need to get on my phone?
Enjoy,

You need to expand the widget (I think it will stay expanded) and you get Start, Lock, etcOn iPhone...only widget they have is to send POI to the carBummer.
^ fme...didn’t see the Show More...LOL. Thanks!!!
What sucks is...it still has to start the slow-ass App. Thought it might be more clever and hit their API directly somehow.
my app starts instantaneously (literally) , no login. Yes you still have to enter the PIN but with face recognition that seems quick on my phone.
I’m sure it would but I never use close all apps on my iPhone. Never saw a reason to do so much if at all.I'm guessing it makes you login again if you routinely use the "close all apps" on your phone. At least, it seems like that is how it is handled on my Note 8
North America doesn't have it.there is a remote starter in my key fob, i start the car from the fob all the time, how come you guys dont have it?
Android Phone - Long press Home Screen > Widget > Genesis, then you have 5 widgets to choose.
I'm not impressed with the remote start at all. The couple of times I've used it, while brushing snow off the car, the car shuts off after a couple of minutes of idle instead of the 10 minutes I've optioned in the app. While the app is a nice feature put the remote start where it belongs on the FOB.
It is. Genesis considers it a safety feature in the event someone is trying to steal the car. Here in Canada we have something called snow. We need to have the car warming up while brushing off the snow. Can't do that if the car shuts off. Silly. If I open and close the door after remote starting, without getting in (ie leaving my key fob in the driver's seat) I've noticed that it will shut off after a minute or two. Might explain what you're experiencing.
I always took my snow brush into the house of snow was predicted overnight. Cleaned it off while the car was running, no need to open anything until ready to leave. It is. Same here. I noticed this some time ago.
