If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. G70 Lease Comparisons and Discussion (USA)

I'm having great difficulty getting what I think :) is a decent deal here in CA. I reached out to a dozen or more dealers. I really want to get this car. I currently have a 2017 Q60RS. Any feedback / suggestions are most welcome.

This is the best deal I've been offered. I asked the dealer a few follow up questions and new figures but they're rea slow to respond. I was hoping for 15% off MRSP and payment around $500 a month $500 DAS. My lease isn't up for a few months so I'm not in a rush. Thanks for the input!

2020 G70 3.3T RWD Sport
MSRP $51790
Sales price before rebates is $46800
Incentives $2750, but I should also have $500 more for conquest, maybe a little more for Veteran.

California is a big place. Where are you located.
it looks like you want to pay $42,000 for the car in order to have a $500 monthly. That seems like more than 15% off but I’ll leave that to others

Did you use a circle A cert? How didn’t you get the dealer from $51K sticker to $46,800 on a 2020? Circle A I think is around $47,300 for a 3.3 sport and it appears there is still $1K conquest available too for Infiniti vehicles. Only asking for I will be working a deal here sometime on a 2020 so I’m following what others are able to get.

Sac, $42,500/43k

No Circle A. Thanks for the input. MSRP is a little lower for the car I want $51,245. I don't need the added accessories...

I sent your specifics to a friend that works at a SoCal Genesis dealer. Will message you with what I get back from him.

Even with new incentives over the last month or so from $4,00 to $5,000+ lease cash... is anyone still getting outrageous first numbers on leases. To the point where it makes you not want to even deal with these dealerships?

I been shopping around for a lease on a 2019 2.0t RWD Elite Automatic and the best I have been able to find so far is:

MSRP: $41245
Sales Price: $37,277
Incentives: $6,750 (Lease Cash & Year End Bonus Cash)
DAS: $0
Monthly Payment: $429 (Including Taxes and All Fees)
Term: 36 Months/15k Miles

Price includes tax credits because I am in Texas. Thoughts?

Looks like you did very well, your sales price is lower than the Circle A pricing. We could look at the MF, fees etc. but as long as you are happy with the deal I say go for it. (y)

I'm going to be in the market soon for a new car and I've read about people taking advantage of lease cash then switching it to a traditional loan. How does that work?

You lease the car and then at some point in the future you find outside financing to purchase the vehicle. That could be during the lease period as an early lease buyout or after the lease ends. As always, you have to run the different scenarios but it probably would be less expensive to do that after the lease ends due to the low money factors.

Ok, I saw some people were doing it as early as 60 days in on their lease. We drive too many miles to lease but if I could save a few thousand by taking advantage of the lease cash and the buyout numbers worked, then I'd go that route.

You see a few people doing this on the Stinger taking advantage of the $11,000 discount on a 24 month lease. The lease numbers arent particularly good, but an $11k discount makes the effective sales price arrtactive. In order to use this tactic you will need to bring your own financing though

The lease arrangement offers some powerful discounts not available to outright buyers. The money factor, in essence the interest on the depreciated payments, is less than any conventional new car loan I know of. Your issue of over-mileage brings that additional cost into the calculation. Nonetheless, if you have financing available @ an attractive rate from a conventional source, the lease discounts would very likely be far more than the expense of the finance charges. How long you plan to keep the car, total mileage over the lease term, your credit standing and lender relationship, term of loan, and other factors must be calculated. I chose to lease after reading the advice here and will buy from lease in a few months, likely prior to the end of the first year.
Genesis Motors is just like us: it (and we) would love to have money as soon as possible rather than a little at a time. A lease buyout can be in the interest of both car manufacturer and car buyer. There may be a lease buyout expense from the leasing arm but maybe not. 750$ someone has posted here, others with 0$

Are 2020 G70s getting any lease incentives at all? Last time I looked did not see any, only for 2019s. Only loyalty and conquest $1000 discounts showed up for 2020s.

If I remember correctly, the lease cash is 2,750 to 3,000 depending on model. Check on Edmunds to be sure though.

Edmunds, assuming I’m using it correctly shows zero incentives for 2020 models when I look at the incentive page. It does not even show the $1000 loyalty and conquest discount shown on the Genesis web site so maybe it’s a little slow on being updated?

You have to ask in the Edmunds forum.
