I thought i knew about Genesis G70. But i got to test drive 2020 Genesis G70 w/ Ultimate PKG that has Michelin PS4S sticky tires and low steel pads from brembo. And Ultimate PKG really turned Genesis G70 into a whole different animal. So, let’s meet 2020 Genesis G70.

Ultimate package? WTF? I have. 2020 G70 3.3 sport and do not recall any such package name? I think I do have the Michelin tires mentioned. Maybe Canadian package or Korean package name.

Definitely a Korean market model, but likely a preview of features (like the gauge cluster) we will see in a facelift

the PS4S would be nice, but overkill from the already great PS4. those brake pads are the same as the 6MT and 3.3T Dynamic (US market). awesome bite, crazy dust too...i know.

GReat review - agree on nice exterior tweaks but they do need some interior updates. Driving capabilities are great - but exhaust notes need a boost.

I just looked at the S.Korean website...and it indeed lists it at 370 ps (metric)...which is 365 hp (mech).
Metric hp (ps = pferdestarke) x 98.6% = mech hp (what we refer to in NA).

The torque is 52 kg m...which is 376 lb ft.

So...with that said...no change to the engine hp/torque.

Also...the Ultimate package in S.Korea adds real carbon fiber on...
- outside mirror covers
- center wheel caps
- steering wheel inner bezel
- crash pad garnish
- console indicator cover
- door upper garnish

...as well as...
- Michelin PS4S tires
- Brembo low steel pads

This fixes one of the only gripes I had from choosing the G70 over the G80.

I already have Brembos and switching pads on them is a 20 minute job for all four if that. So, the only thing I'm jealous about is the CF.

^ the mirror assembly is not CF, it's just an overlay piece that replaces the normal body-coloured mirror cover. some people like that.
