Keep an eye on them... They're super bright and will generate a lot of heat. Check in a few months to see if any diodes have burnt off. I don't think they're made for drls?

The old version in my 2015. This is 6.5 or so.


The newest version. This is 13.5.


The updates also affects the entire audio system software including bluetooth features and other firmware tweaks in addition to the navigation system.

They advertise an overheat circuit after continuous use of the high output flash (5-8 mins) which it switches to hyperflash temporarily. They just need to cool for short while (1-2 mins) and it resets itself.

I may consider them if they last longer than a few months. Many LED bulbs I used in other cars seem to fail in less than year of use due to heat when used as DRL.

I have been in touch with mapnsoft but still no answer. It has been 6 weeks, and they are still try to figure it out.

LOL. I kind of figured that was what you was talking about.

To answer your question, I do not know since my backup camera has been stuck in the normal mode since I bought the car used a year ago. I just never got around to fixing it because normal mode is what I would use the most anyway.

From what I read, the backup camera is flaky with the 2015 models.

The one guy tells me that the feature is still there. Another guy tells me that if they cant resolve the issue they will replace headunit? So that's where I am at. Either way I want it to work as it did before update was installed. I just cant help myself!!@@

I understand you as well.

I actually tried to restart my back up camera by removing my trunk liner and disconnecting and reconnecting it a year ago . Did not work, so it seems that I need a new camera unit. I am waiting for it to fail completely so that I can buy a new one. I also maybe able to obtain a new one through my extended warranty, but I really do not want to use my warranty and sit in a Hyundai dealership waiting room to repair a working camera; even if it does not swap modes correctly. However, I may use the warranty before it runs out to fix the camera if it does not completely fail before the warranty expires.

Hopefully, they can find a fix for your camera.

Sorry, just saw your post. Yes they're extremely bright and I don't have any error codes or hyperflashing sitting at longer red lights. You'll see them against reflective street signs about twice the distance compared to stock bulbs.
