  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

OK. I thought something was up when I clicked his user name and couldn't find a way to PM him.

I'll just post it here. Don Moore Genesis Owensboro Ky. Salesman is Stephen Nagie (He's awesome) 270-314-5460. Check their website, they had a few.
Mention the forum and my name "Joey" . Said he could sell more at that deal but time is running out.

Thank you. I will follow up on this.

I wonder how he's doing these deals. Best I've seen is mid 5's as a payment on a 36/10 lease, and that's with a bunch of incentives and a minimum of 1500 down.

So I talked to Stephen. No dice on that deal anymore. I thought something was fishy with this. You must have gotten the deal of the century.

Nothing "fishy" here, you were too late. They took away $5,800 worth of incentives. Another forum member was quoted my deal but couldn't get down there in time, maybe they will chime in here. Everything about the deal was exactly how I posted.

Kinda surprising that the January incentives seem a bit lackluster for 2019 cars. I bought in December and was expecting to see even better deals for the new year. The Nov/Dec lease cash incentive for a 3.3T RWD was $4750 along with $1000 End Of Year bonus cash. For January, the lease incentive increased to $5750 for the same spec, but there is no bonus cash; so it's basically the same as December. In hindsight, it turns out the very best year end lease incentive for 2019 was the Black Friday $1500 bonus cash along with the lease cash. I skipped that one thinking December would be better... wrong! o_O

Maybe this means Genesis is pleased with the rate the 2019's are being sold and they don't NEED to increase the incentive yet? I would think dealers are motivated to get the remaining 2019's off the lot so maybe there will be deeper dealer discounts than what we've seen the past few months. Anyone else have thoughts on this? How long do we expect to see Genesis incentives on 2019 cars? Til they're gone or?

Impossible to time it. You just have to go with what you think is a good deal. Anything else is a guess. Maybe educated but we just don’t have all the facts.

I got the base 2.0 AWD model at 36k miles/3 years for $2000 down (including first month payment) and $375/month. Not the greatest deal, but the residual payment is $18,000 so if I decide to buyout the car, the total would be $32000.

Not the greatest deal, but I'm okay with it as I love the car and it was a pretty rash decision to buy it.

Look at it this way, you are happy and enjoying your G70 and I'm sure not even thinking about the deal you made therefore it was a good one. Congratulations, good luck, enjoy and be safe.

Hello friends,

This would be my first time leasing. I'm cross shopping while I'm still learning all the finer things but how does this look for a 3.3t RWD Elite/Prestige Package?

Your discount seems a but low for a 2019 but that could be what is going on in your area.
I didn't the numbers but the payment seems a bit high but of course it could be your tax rate. You will want to verify the MF to be sure you are getting base. Once you have that as well as the tax rate, you should be able to plug all of the numbers into a lease calculator (leasehackr has probably the best one out there Leasehackr Calculator — LEASEHACKR) and make sure what you calculate equals what they are telling you in regards to cash due at signing as well as the monthly payment. If you run into any problems you can always post all of the numbers here and someone will be able to run it.

From my Edmunds research it looks like 3.3t in SoCal are going for $5750 rebates where as the 2.0t are going for $8500 for the 2019's.

I wasn't referring to rebates, I was talking about the discount from MSRP. I would push that a bit more since the Circle A pricing is a bit lower and it is last year's model.

Hm the $45,409 selling price is Circle A pricing though if I'm understanding what you're saying.

Yes but it is the Circle A price for last year's model and you could have bought it at that price anytime during the model year. Now that there is a new model year out, I would see if you can get it for Circle A plus a discount since they have to move the old year models out. Some members here were able to get Circle A plus a dealer discount during the model year.

I see what you mean now. I'll definitely try this angle if it works, thanks for the tip~
