  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Tesla CyberTruck

Lol. Don't let me live rent free in your head. Tesla couldn't pay me enough to work with them. The stock doing well in the portfolio is good enough.

They don't do the traditional at scale advertisements or endorsements you see other automotive manufacturers do - they put that money into R&D and their vehicles. Any strong advertisements you see online are probably fan made.

What specifically is misinformation or rewording here? Everything I've written is based on my research over many years and personal experience with the company. If you or anyone has actual objective facts aside from the subjective "Electric man and his company are the worst, they suck", I'd be happy to continue dialogue at a technical level. Otherwise, it's all preference and I can respect and appreciate yours. I think I've defined mine, and quelled some common misconceptions :)

Otherwise, let's take this thread back to the roots of it's originating principle, making fun of the tuktuk

Here we go again. You cannot do one single post without praising Tesla in some way. Did anyone ask about their stock or how they advertise?!? Like WTF man.

Read my post from yesterday where I posted actual links and facts that discredit your statements. You replied to it dancing around my points and just praising/backing up your original points. Zero proof...zero links...zero hard facts.

I am done man. No need to reply to this post again posting more Tesla fanboy statements.

Have a happy new year and enjoy your G80.

Facts on how awesome Teslas are... LOL

Tesla has always struggled to build cars. Now that critical fundamental is really hurting its business.

Tesla Model 3 Loses CR Recommendation Over Reliability Issues

Also: Uh oh for Tesla, a mainstream manufacturer is building a Tesla competitor for a fraction of the price, has parts on the shelf, several options to choose from, and all the warranty and support of a major auto manufacturer behind it. #Ford Mustang Mach-e (unfortunate name though).

And dont give me the "oh, that's not in the same league as a Tesla..." b.s. By all accounts, it performs better, is more luxurious, and is in the same league. But, like the iPhone, people will pay extra for a trendy, niche, badge... dumbasses!:LOL:

You suggested there was Tesla advertising and that I was an employee, I was just clarifying that. My only connection is owning stock and one of their products for now. If you read closely, I did have links embedded in my response to you.

I appreciate the discussion, and happy new year to you as well. Have fun in the G70, I hope it brings you many years of faithful service.

This is a great thing! I'm glad Ford is starting to build mass market EVs. It looks like they're adopting a similar model by encouraging (maybe mandating) dealers to have one price. Maybe they'll try direct sales too.

This certainly is in the same league as the Tesla counterpart -- the Model Y -- and it'll will be a direct segment competitor. Not as quick or as advanced by the looks of the battery tech, but that's okay for their first modern EV run :)

I'd love to see the GV80 come in an electric variant with all the technology, that'd be the dream.

DITMITRY , bro you sound like the guy that roots for a anti social world and trying to kill all mankind and replace all of us with robots. :hillarious:

That's cause I am. Just a Russian bot practicing for the upcoming elections

Not as quick, lol the GT is estimated at zero to 60 in about 3 seconds. Pretty darn quick for much less $$, more support, and backing.

I'm all for robots taking over the world. Mankind has been to whiny, selfish, and greedy to make any real advances. We need to be ruled by logic, slaves to our robot masters - it's the best future I can imagine. Haha.

Both of them are advertised at 3.5, although with new chemistry/advancements they should both be quicker. Tesla's figures for the Y haven't changed since they've issued out some over the air updates to make the cars more efficient and quicker, they'll make sure it's the quickest in the segment. I'd love to see the Mustang quicker though! This will be a good thing in the industry that other manufacturers want to be competitive. Especially our few big domestic brands.

I'm disappointed that Ford decided to build the Mach E in Mexico though.

In similar comparison, I tested out Jaguar's I-Pace and Audi's E-Tron, Tesla's running circles around them. I think the Mach E will as well compared to those two. Good efforts, but they've got quite a ways to go. Definitely monitoring this segment, as it will be the most popular one for EVs in about a years time.

Welcome to the roaring 20's folks, it'll be a wild ride this decade.

i tested out a prius, i found it very similar to a model 3 minus the 0-60 actually the prius had better interior quality than the model 3.

I didn't take you as a fellow that'd get a Prius over a Model 3, but I don't judge :)

i find the prius much more practical ,refined, does everything you need it to do and at a better price compare the the model 3. :)

Sounds sensible. I don't think anyone here can finish this sentence truthfully:
I MUST drive a Genesis because _________________
I drive one because I want to.
