  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Official 0-60 & 1/4 mile thread

DA was -1295ft, so really favorable. I'm AWD, so no traction issues! I've got about a 1/4 tank left, so I'll use it up and thrown in 91 for science! Heck, maybe after that I'll find 94 and do more testing!

According to Car and Driver, the industry standard is to use the 1 ft roll-out, which means I ran a 4.32!

When you change gas make sure to give it a the beans a couple times to allow the ECU to adapt. Super excited to see what the difference is

Y'all are getting me curious. I should buy a Dragy.

It's a slick little device. I stick it to the driver door just inside the window. It's inexpensive and really accurate.

I suspect you'll have one on the way shortly :spoton:

@Toddasaurus i suspect you would have some crazy good elevations and DAs and probably not be to far off tankabobs times honestly. Probably in the 11.7-11.8 area. Maybe even better

I'm not sure if I have any roads flat and safe enough to do 1/4 mile runs nearby; but, I do have some nice sections of road where I can do some good 0-60's (same place I do my datalogging).

I'll have to look around.

For 0-60 pulls you don't need any roads, lol.... find a nice, new warehouse and use their parking lot in front of the loading docks, its always pretty flat.
Ask me how I know, lol

I know none of you awd guys have a traction issue. But for you rwd guys a little thing that helps me a lot is airing down the rear tires to between 18-20 psi. If anyone else does this lemme know if it helps you or if you find a pressure that works better and we can keep testing as we go to help one another out!!!

Edit: after about 8-10 tries I can’t get under a 4.7 0-60 without airing down. No matter how much I try to feather the throttle in first gear

Dragy order is in!

FYI, I ordered from eBay, price was the best I could find. Seller has 100% positive feedback with several Dragy buyers already. I'll post when I get it. Hopefully I'm not scammed. Haha.

This way I'll be able to see the difference between my pump gas powered JB4 vs the ECU flash I end up with, as I'm only going to be dynoing my car one more time when all my power upgrades are done... (ie I won't compare JB4 dyno to the ECU flash dyno).

I’m excited to see your results!!!! Have you decided on a flash yet?

Haha, I'm down for a vote!! I'm back and forth on everything... Kagan, Tork, and PRESSERTech are the ones I'm considering!

As of right now, Tork Stage 2 non-meth tune is what I'm leaning towards.

Hmm. Tork hey... They were first I guess but my feeling is they will be quickly surpassed.

Kagan has my vote!

So there was a difference in the standard stage 2 and the meth stage 2? I wasn’t sure if I had read that correctly on the stinger forum

I thought he said there were 2 Stage 2 tunes, with one specifically for meth injection.... Maybe I am wrong. Haha.

I think you are correct. I just read a post that Tonkabob made that said the wmi was almost pointless until they reworked the tune to maximize its potential then it actually made a difference
