Sun shade Question (2015 Sedan 3.8 AWD Tech)

Hi Everyone,

Have a quick question about trim levels on the 2015 Genesis Sedan. I have a 2015 3.8 AWD Tech Sedan and I dont have a rear sunshade. I was under the impression that all Genesis sedans minus the base model were equipped with the rear shade.

I have all the tech features (17 speaker lexicon, Smart Cruise control etc)
The layout of my driver side console (with dimmer switch, fuel tank release, ESC control etc) looks like Review: 2015 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 Luxury | Canadian Auto Review

Do I have some mythical canadian edition trim or am I missing something?

Strange, I have the AWD Sig model listed above (2015) and I have all the features listed EXCEPT the car does NOT have the self leveling headlights that the list shows it has.

I think it was mentioned before that Canada did not have the sunshade. Maybe they get a rack to hold hockey sticks instead?

I thought the Signature and Tech packages had the 14 speaker system, and the Ultimate trim was the only one that had 17 speakers. Or is that another of the Canadian model differences, eh?

from my research on the US versions, that is correct. must be Canada

I don't think we have the 3.8 ultimate trim in Canada. We only have it on the 5.0. It a very strange

No. The rear sunshade is part of the Signature package, which is included in the Tech and Ultimate packages (at least as far as 2016's are concerned...maybe 2015's had a different package arrangement?).

....I'm still kinda irked that we all didn't get heated rear seats & steering wheels. 1st world problems...

Woulda had to have gotten the all wheel drive model for those options.

And you got more than 1 steering wheel?!

Top level US models 2015 "Genesis Ultimate" is distinguishable by the HUD option it also has the rear sun shade I had one. Great car.

Guess that they thought there's no sun in Canada.... Just like they thought that it doesn't get really cold in the US. Weird.
