  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Post purchase price details here (US $ only)

Josh will match. They are taking $4000 off the top and then another $3500 that Hyndai is chipping in. Go for it..Josh is great. I live in San Antonio, Josh was willing to drive to SA to deliver the car or put it on a flatbed at his cost. I was a nice guy so I met him almost half way in Austin.

I reached out to Josh and referenced you.. Currently waiting to here back. They still have two 3.3s listed at $44.5k. If he would offer the same deal at 7500 off and 0% financing I'd be willing to take it. Actually pitched the same offer to a dealership about an hour from my home yesterday and they acted insulted. Not sure if they feel less inclined to negotiate because of the 0% financing?
Genesis Finance is probably who will do financing so unless dealer has to contribute some, your purchase price should not influence what Genesis Financial actually does. Your credit score will though. $7500 off, assume rebates are still active should be achievable. I got $8500 off a 2020 3.3 sport so your offer on a 2019 is more than reasonable. Good luck.

Josh's day off today I think. The dealer will take $4k off the top and Genesis contributes an additional $3.5k. You will get the Genesis financing up to 84 months at zero percent. Good luck.

Thanks a bunch for your help. Spent most of the day talking with them. Sent over all my info and did my finance application this afternoon and qualified for the 0% financing. We’ve agreed on the same price you got a few days ago and I’ll be finalizing the transaction tomorrow!

Congrats on your purchase. The good folks on this forum rock. Post pictures. Enjoy your ride.

Great. The dealership is great to deal with. Good luck with your new purchase. You will love the car.

Any chance you could post a picture of what you got? Would love to see. Sorry if you have and I missed them earlier in the forum.

Looking at a 2019 G70 2.0 Advanced Sedan for 34,503.00. This seems like a great deal but wanted to check before I jump on it. Any thoughts?

New or used? You can find low mileage used 3.3t for around that much. Some may not even be used but are sold as used (the red 3.3ts).

Ghack, I've seen 2019 G70 2.0 as low as $32k. You can buy a 3.3t for around $36 k. Genesis of Dallas has a couple left. Contact Josh Brutcher, sales manager.

Hey there,
I’d try to get it a little lower. About 3 weeks ago I was looking at a 2019 2.0 in Louisiana. Was able to get an advanced with elite package down to $31.5k with just a few minutes on the phone. I think you can definitely get it lower.

Happy and proud to be getting my 2019 Genesis G70 3.3 RWD Elite today. I purchased pre-owned with 9,800 miles on it. Paid $32,999. :D

OTD price? And color?
Congrats!

I am looking at a 2019 3.3T Adavance with Elite, dealer is saying they cannot combine 0%/84 with 3500 rebate but is offering $3000 off MSRP. ($46690) Is this a good offer?

Dudes, in my opinion, NOT a good deal. Dealers are taking off st least $4 k off the top and Genesis was giving an additional $3500 with zero percent financing. Check other dealers in various states to get the best deal.

Agreed, not a great deal. A 2019 has probably been on a lot for 6 months, dealers should be hungry and if you’re credit is great don’t know why they would not offer 0%. Some of the rebates might be for a lease, but I would press to combine all discounts plus the 0% or walk away from the deal. $7500 off of a 2019 should be doable.

Many of the early red cars left the factory (or arrived at dealer) with some discrepant finish, usually bumper, sometimes elsewhere. Genesis took them and repaired sufficient to be equivalent to new and then released to the market. Thus more 2019 red came later in the year and remained until now. Just as a side note I checked my region (Charlotte) this week, since I have time at home, and Black is a common color for remaining cars at dealers in 100+ mile radius of here. Marketing always has some idea of color patterns from focus groups and such, and then dealers use their experience in ordering and even then some colors seem to languish. Genesis has an excellent range of colors, more so than Audi and BMW in my opinion, so there is less "forced choice" for Genesis buyers.
Hi,
Thank you for the info. Now That I’m learning about the Ref paint issue, I’m regretting not get into this blog before buying. I was almost down to buy a 2019 G70 3.3 Havana Red used but with just a few miles. I got scared when I realized that many Hyundai and Genesis dealers had several 2019 G70s red all manufactured around October 2018 on sale as used, with very few miles. I guessed that something wrong happened, but since I didn’t have more info, I decided to to buy any. I couldn’t find a reason which those cars were on sale more than a year from the manufacturing date. I finally bought a 2020 Savile Silver with the Prestige Pkg because I wanted the extra features, but my budget didn’t reach further to buy the 3.3 Prestige. I’m anyway very happy with my G70, love the color and all features, and I got a pretty good deal because the coronavirus sales slides, (US$ 36.9k plus Taxes and registration)

Genesis is not currently offering the $3500 rebate with 0% APR FYI.

Thanks for you replies.

I was able to get another 1800 off, MSRP: $46,690, price after discounts: $41,807. OTD $44,858. I am going to contact another dealer and see what they can offer me.
