Couldnt take that silver Grill any longer (my Genesis isnt Silver)

I'm slow and missing the difference between the grills. Are there good example of before and after shots?

All grills no matter what color genesis you buy come with a silver grill with chrome inserts , now look at either my pics of my painted grill or chris green's painted white grill & you should be able to see the difference, the only genesis that looks nice with the silver grill is of course the silver genesis !

I had mine done as well, and I think it looks stellar on my Black Genesis I don't have pics of it, but when I take my car out of storage in the spring, I'll snap a few.

Hey cbaray u can go to pictures on page # 4 dated 9-26-09 and get a good look at my white painted grill

I was getting anxious, so I went into the garage to snap a few pics of the painted grill on a black Genesis.

Nice but i would like to see it in the driveway or on the street in a full picture to get the full effect, but one thing for sure your baby looks like mines with that cover on it ( lol ) i only remove that cover on the weekends than she has to get washed & the cover back on by monday

I figured it would be better if there were outside pics, but my car's "stored" for the winter. I'm sure I'll take more pics in the spring.

You inspired me. I had my grill painted color match by local Chrysler dealer paint shop here in Salem, OR. Their paint shop has reputation of best in town. They did not remove grill to paint it. Cost was $192, considerably less than an aftermarket grill. Paint job looks OEM.

Your grill looks great. You need to patent the idea and sell it to Hyundai.

I have a platinum Genesis, and the inside color of the grill exactly matches the platinum paint.

This is my all-time favorite grille I've seen on the Genesis. It's a custom painted grille like Scott's, but this owner has apparently replaced the stock upper trim piece with the solid chrome slat from the other KDM grille.

I'm pretty sure he got the upper chrome trim piece that attaches to the hood of the car from this KDM grille (I'd love to know if it would be possible to order this piece separately because it looks great IMO):

I agree the solid chrome piece looks better because it balances the spacings between the grill better. The thing I don't like about the painted grill is the top open space is bigger than the rest. It would look better if they were all the same size. I dislike it enough to prefer the solid silver grill which doesn't give the same impression. The painted upper grill piece also reminds me a bit of one of those thin pencil mustaches, like you'd see on Ret Butler.

So far I have found the stick-on hood cap fillers in chrome but I am waiting to find the solid one piece... These just cover up the painted hood and basically hide the pencil mustache..Anybody found a site where the full hood piece can be purchased?

I agree that solid chrome piece looks much better than the one on ours.
That clean front grill + clear headlights(no orange reflectors) + staggered wheel setup looks awesome.
