  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Debadging G70

I would NOT do that. The lines of the hood feed off the tips of the wings on the logo. I think the spot is raised a bit too.

Trust me...it will look retarded. I photoshopped my car with out it for kicks...yuck.

Did you save that pic? maybe share with us? thanks

Anyone toy with leaving the 3.3T on? I agree the HTRAC is tacky and I don’t like the look of the ‘G70’ either, but I kinda like a balance between no chrome and having a billboard across the back of my car.
A cringe worthy moment for me is when the dealer stuck on one of those cheap plasticky stickers with their name and town below the G70. It looked bad by itself but with all the badging it just looked straight busy. First thing I did when I got home from the dealer was grab the hair dryer to get it off.
One last thing- badge discussion brings to mind one of my favorite looking badges- the italic ‘supra’ logo from the 90s... Glad they brought that badge back.

Haha:p
Sometimes I’ve felt like I’ve wanted an extra ‘T’ on the end. Just to flex that little bit more😂

Someone should make a cool 3.3TT emblem!

As I posted some months ago, I added another "t". Genesis doesn't offer individual letters, so to be sure it matched I just bought a full emblem set and added its "t" (perhaps a bit sloppily; I'm not a stable genius). About $15 at the dealership parts department. Worth it to me, for it to look right.

Not a big fan of the TT. Too Audi’esque
I thought about BiTurbo but that’s a Benz thing.

I like it! However the crooked ‘T’ gave me a pretty good cringe 😬

That looks horrible. Invest in a $1 ruler...LOL

Yeah, it looks worse examining the photo than it does with a casual glance.
But it's the original "t", not the one I added, that looks askew. It's the factory that needs the ruler. Time to trot out the fishline and 3M tape.

I'm tempted to remove Htrac. I don't know why Genesis didn't rebrand that. Kia calls their Dynamax but doesn't use any badges.
Definitely not as sexy as Quattro.

That looks gorgeous! Now all you'd hypothetically need is a JB4 tune to make that 'N' badge a reality (hint: I actually don't want you to confirm if you do already). My very good friend Usman McGilicuddy still has his in his office drawer.

Oh it has JB4 and VelossaTeach Snorkels so it has the Horsepower I would imagine the N version would have.

3.3T, HTRAC, G70 removed. I paid my friendly local detailer $100 to do it. He erased ANY evidence there were ever badges on this car. I love it. Nobody knows what the car is now.

I did this in my garage in five minutes with my wife's hairdryer. Add five more minutes to apply paint sealant to the area.
