I just picked up my 2010 V8 (no Tech) Genesis on December 28 and I live in New England. I’m concerned that there may be a problem with the HVAC Auto control. In my previous car on a cold morning, once the engine warmed up enough to provide heat and on the Auto setting, the fan speed would increase to max to get the car up to the desired temperature quickly and then gradually reduce fan speed and air temp to the selected temperature. My Genesis increases fan speed but only to about 4 bars (I think there are 7 or 8) and warms the interior very slowly but does gradually reduce fan speed as it finally reaches selected temp. The air that it is blowing is hot but not forceful. I have been manually increasing the fan speed to warm the interior faster and once I get comfortable, I hit the Auto to maintain. Is this normal for other Genesis owners or does your fan speed go to max to get the interior warm fast?
BTW, I have checked the rear center console to make sure it is also blowing heated air.
