Anybody having issues with the download? Mine keeps failing, then trying to unpack the unfinished download and freaking out, and then resetting back to ~35% (5700mb or so) even if it gets to 40%+. If it was resuming from later on in the download I could at least eventually finish but it's looking like there might only be a few 'break points' where it can resume, and it can't make it more than 5% or so without resetting. Sometimes it doesn't even pop the fail box; it just snaps back to 5700mb complete and continues, downloading the same chunk over and over...

You'd think "download a file" would be a solved problem by now, but I guess not...

Mine downloaded fine but some previous features I had before are not working or missing .
1- Android Auto & Apple Car Play don't work & are now grey icons instead of in colour.
2- 3D mapping seems to be missing or I can't find it in display settings.
3- No Cell phone Battery Condition Indicator on upper left of screen.
4- Home display is missing from upper left of screen when split between Navi & Music display.
My car is 2016 Luxury with 8 inch screen & touch only.
Somewhat disappointed as I added Android & 3D myself when I bought the car used 2 1/2 years ago.
Anyone have any ideas on who to complain to?

That really stinks. And once you update system you cant go back and remove it?

Can't locate my 2016 3.8 Luxury on the windows version that I followed your link to.
What am I doing wrong? I went in without setting up an account & selected Hyundai.
Any help for this computer klutz greatly appreciated.

Have to pick Genesis, not Hyundai. And change your region to USA in settings.

Sorry for errors on above post.
Went to visit my local Genesis Rep & he helped me find all the missing items. My Bad!!
I JUMPED TO THE WRONG CONCLUSIONS. IT'S ALL GOOD.
See corrections below in CAPITAL LETTERS following each item.

My dealership is a combo Hyundai/Genesis store, and since Genesis started they've had the Genesis people service my 2015 and I've gotten Genesis G80 loaners. Not complaining!

I think most Hyundai dealers will try to push off service of these models to their Genesis side...most Hyundai shop techs won't even plug a scan tool into one because they're scared it'll break or something.

But yes, when "Genesis" became a thing, the Hyundai Genesis (at least the 2nd gen) was grandfathered in to the lineup. Not sure if the 1st gens get any love though.

So, I still can't get more than 5600mb of the download without it resetting. I've redone it from the start, run it at 4am with nothing else happening on my network, tried resuming dozens of times... For people who successfully got the file, what was your DL speed? I'm wondering whether it needs to be done within a certain time or it fails (I can only manage about 4mb/sec). Doesn't seem likely, especially because the resume breaks faster than the original attempt, but I'm grasping at straws here.

Also, is there anyone who might be able to host the file? The only other thing I can think to try is to dig up the actual address they're pulling the file from and use a different client.

Mine did that at first too. Try reinstalling the downloader.

Given the frustration so far, any reason to not just order one for a reasonable cost? You do gain the old card as an SD card you can use for other purposes.
