CVVT control solenoid replacement

Anyone have any DIY experience in changing a CVVT control solenoid on an ‘09 genny 3.8? Trying to avoid spending major $$$ at the shop if I can change this myself safely. Thanks for any info.

Found a small leak on mine, noticed rattling noise and rough idling but no check engine light warning. Thoughts? Pictures attached.

One small issue though about the links, its in Chinese. By any chance would you know where to find/purchase the oil seal compatible to my car?

this is the my car part number. my car is mpi 3.3 . contact the saler before buy it.

the 1-2 seconds rattle noise at cold start is the bad of CVVT phase.

rough idling: You need to clean the throttle body. and use CRC air mass sensor cleaner to clean air mass sensor.

blue: air mass sensor red: throttle body

if your car rattle noise at cold start with 1-2 seconds then you need to replace cvvt phase.
