If you do unplug sensor, will you get a warning light on the dash cluster?
Did you do this, or are you simply speculating?
I’m not seeking a backyard remedy. I’m just pointing out the shortcomings of Hyundai’s current technology versus older tech that works well enough. Nobody ever complained that intermittent wipers don’t work.
I have not tested it for myself, the auto lights are integrated with the rain sensor and they failover to On when disconnected.
I just went and took the mirror apart to test and just unplugging the sensor *does not* throw an immediate error or actually set intermittent mode. So my statement is incorrect.
