I hear you complants, but you have to take in account that Hyundai/Genesis are selling grade A cars(engine/chassis mainly) at discount prices that rivals the big name luxury makes, therefore cost cutting will occur in other areas such as the controls and lights among other places. There are tradeoffs to making a well made car affordable and it seems that you discovered the areas that are the compromised points in the brand. How is it possible that most of our 15-16 genesis’ all have the same exact issues and they’re somehow not recalled. Let’s start with the fluttering and the drive shaft being replaced. Next, my seat back detached. My LED dome light went out. My wiper sprayer broke. This car drives amazing but is honestly made like garbage and Hyundai needs to own their design flaws.
I still like my Genesis overall even if it does have some weak points. I changed out my flicking LED map light recently with a $10 OEM LED replacement bulb I bought off Ebay. However, I did not have any mechanical issues in 2015 model with over 70k miles. Maybe the 5.0 models has a beefier driveshaft. The driveshaft issue does seem pretty common with 3.8 owners.
