Made another 100 mile freeway run last night, with speeds ranging from 65 - 85 MPH. I reset the MPG calculator as I took off, and it was reading 28.1 when I pulled into the driveway. A very respectable number, indeed...
From what people tell me, trip computers are sometimes a tad optimistic. Has anyone checked the accuracy of the one in the Genesis?
Strange how the computer didn't consistently judge high or low, it fluctuated. I wonder how the computer gets its reading compared to the regular math that we do.
25mpg isn't too bad on full highway although I'd like to see a bit more. The city one is probably more representative of how I'd drive, if not a bit more city so good to know the numbers are still roughly similar.
I'm getting 13mpg for 100% city driving![]()
Wow, that sucks. You must have one hell of a lead foot.
Or he lives in San Francisco or Seattle
Hilly terrain can make a huge difference in gas mileage.
Yes, I do live in San Francisco!
