Do you have a list of sites that might be selling this diecast Genesis?

The Genesis is exclusively available at www.automodel.co.kr. The website is run by the manufacturer (and official distributor of other diecast models).

I suggest you wait a couple of months until they fix the initial (although minor) quality problems. They are really working hard on it. Additionally, I DO NOT recommend to make a purchase at the website because payment options may not be compatible with us (in the States).

Thanks for the information. I think I speak for most of us who say that we would happily buy one today if it were available.

It's interesting that there's some English on the site, including "shopping cart" and "order now" but no easy way for international buyers to buy. e-mailed automodel.co.kr/ they came back with a price of $130.00 i think this price is way to high because i have other diecasts of other cars that i have owned. they did ask me if i was a collector, store or dealer. this suggests to me that if we can buy these in bulk, we may be able to get a much better price

They sell other die-cast cars that range in price from 6.000 won to over 600,000 won. The price of each model depends on the level of detail and number of moving parts. I am not sure you realize how detailed the Genesis die cast model is. All four doors open, as does the trunk and hood. It has a gas lift that holds up the hood when open, and even the sun visors flip up and down.

I didn't have a chance to look at the model myself, however, judging from the comments from my friend collectors who got it and the pictures they have, I would say Genesis is at the "detail-oriented" end of the spectrum (rather than "price / value-oriented")

I suppose the detail and the quality is roughly on par with Minichamps and Autoart. If you are looking for a high-end model such as CMC or Exoto, take another chance elsewhere. Similiarly, if you are looking for an inexpensive models like Mattel or Hotwheels, this model may not be for you, either.

As a goodwill for my fellow members on this forum, I am Korean and would gladly call the manufacturer and discuss some of easier ways for you to buy the model on an individual basis. However, I should say up front - I am not associated in anyway with the manufacturer and I would not be doing this for any financial gain. That said, I am not suggesting group buys (things involved too much in terms of logistics), but I can help you communicate with the manufacturer.

I personally would be grateful if you could get the information required to order the model......I've been e-mailing the best I know how but no responses yet except from Korean Auto Imports who said that they would contact the manufacturer.

I also tried to have some translation done by Google ..to no avail.

OK... I just talked to them.

They say White model will be available by mid-March. Only caveat is White Genesis will only be available as BH330 - Domestic-only 3.3 V6 Genesis. (Black and Silver are available as BH380 - 3.8 V6 in the States)

I had a discussion on how to purchase the models, and the best solution would be through PayPal. Once they receive an order via email and funds through PayPal, they will ship the merchandise via EMS (Korean equivalent of US Priority Mail)

They will get back to me in a couple of days with more details including pricing, but I believe it will be comparable to what drndr was offered (around $130 plus shipping). They would also be able to offer some discount on volume order.

I'll post more when I get something from them.

Not all of the initial production run came with defects. They said they are inspecting every model before they ship, so I would say it's safe to try now.
