Official 0-60 & 1/4 mile thread

Quick question those in this thread should know: Does genesis g80/g70 (or the kia stinger) allow brake/throttle overlap in normal driving? I'm used to left foot braking in automatic cars, and sometimes overlap a bit in fast cornering. With some newer cars they disable the throttle with any brake application, and messes up the overlap. I know with VW/AUDI and Subaru etc disables the throttle, just wondering if Hyundai/Kia also does that. Thanks.

True enough it's not directly applicable to drag racing from exactly 0mph, but surely those brake torquing the car will know if gas/brake blending works at >0mph (even if it seem to be ecu rpm limited from precise standstill). I haven't found any other info on this online.

That's kind of interesting now that I think about it, because it means the car allows brake torquing (even if limited); but once you let off the brake to launch, if you apply the brake again even a tad bit (despite nailing the gas) it shuts the whole thing down.

Not from a G70 but from a Stinger running Lap3 and another from a Stinger running Lozic. I'm expecting the Lozic time to drop because he's having major traction issues with all season tires.

Pretty impressive and certainly in the big leagues of 0-60 times.

yeah that's impressive for sure, waiting for some cooler air now I have my brake pads done I can go do some runs

I’ll have to see if I can find some of my logs. I was getting mid 70s for iat in the summer in Vegas. I was running 100 meth tho not 50/50
