  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Spitzer Genesis

Can you share the dealer information? Which package did you get?
The only stand-alone dealership in Cali (Santa Monica). Worth the road trip from anywhere in Cali. See Gino and tell him the Brodys from NorCal sent you. He will take care of you. ; )

Thank you very much

Paid MSRP in Philly metro. Got 75% of what I paid for my Lexus 3 years and 30k miles ago though...

NBC Nightly news just did a segment on the car industry basically shutting down due to the China caused Covid chip shortage. It has the industry on it's heels and prices are going to go up not down. Also re-stated that the shortage will be here for a long time as in years. Were is "chip shortage is fake news" guy that used to root around in here?

I'm so glad I got my GV70 when I did back in June and I never thought I'd feel good about paying MSRP but today I'm ok with it. This shortage will also keep my now "used" car price high as a result. The days of losing 20% of new car value the day you drive it off the lot are over. At least for now.

My thoughts. May just replace mine with a new one in a couple years if I can get close to full purchase price back. Imagine if the GV70 turns into the next “Selluride.”

Anyone paying under MSRP in Florida?
Yes. I paid around $2000 below MSRP, but that was 2 months ago. I'm not sure what the inventory is looking like right now, seems pretty bare last I checked. Don't focus so much on MSRP, and only worry about what you are paying OTD.

what would one consider a great OTD price for the 3.5TT Prestige?
I'm being offered 2500 off MSRP on the 3.5TT Prestige but after fees and stuff it's about 67K out the door.

2.5T Sport Prestige in Adriatic Blue
MSRP was 54,295
Paid $2500 under MSRP.

Defiant888,
if you don’t mind me asking, what dealer in Florida did you buy from? Thanks.

Please share with us prospective buyers what you paid for your GV70. Not so much interested in out the door price because every state is different on taxes, trade ins, etc. More interested in the amount you paid over MSRP, MSRP or under MSRP. Thanks for sharing.
2k below MSRP plus a great deal on a trade-in of a 2020 ES350 Lexus sedan. I got this deal because the original salesperson I talked to was so bad that I was walking out and the sales manager interceded and worked out an out the door cash number that beat two other quotes I received from other dealerships.
