  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Let's get this started again! Post your quarter mile times to get ranked on the list. Looking for our top 10 vehicles to get started.

Rules:

1a) Most of us have a dragy. Time must be stamped valid. Slips with your car pictured are preferred.

2) If there is a tie between a slip and anything, the nod will go to the slip.

3a) Mods must be listed. Everything unless it's underglow 😂 (tunes, WMI, weight reduction, etc.)

3b) List tires and fuel. We all know it makes a big difference. Some of the cars came from the factory with different tires based on region. List it.

If anyone has more suggestions, I'm open to hearing it and can adjust rules.

Post away!!

UPDATED TABLE!

Looking at adding in 1/2 mile as a bonus category. Not used for rank but kind of cool. Let me know what you think.

Thanks for update. Will add it to the list! Did you end up going larger than stock or stayed with same size? I have tires I'll be putting on in the spring but, I stuck with stock size and starting to second guessing myself

My Falkens are on 18-inch wheels. My daily's are 20-inch wheels. I put the 18s on yesterday so I can get a better 60ft but still having trouble spinning them. My times are quicker due to the weight of the wheels. Once I get that 1.6 60ft its 11.0-11.1.

Stick with 19's

Wider tires? I kept everything stock size. Thinking maybe I should've gone somewhere between 265-285 for rears and maybe 235 for front. Will just have to test come spring time.

I went 255/35 all around for my 18's. My 20's are 275/30 rear and 245/35 front

I'm subscribed to this discussion and will continue to update the first post each day so that this information is easy to find.

Whenever a new time is added, please post it as a new entry/submission and I will copy/paste that information to the first post.

I have linked the old "original" discussion to this one. In case anyone is curious, all I'm doing here is updating the first post of the discussion with any updates to rules and/or "times". Posts are only editable here for 24 hours - so if there's any editing needed, I will need to do it. Nobody is sending information to me and I'm not taking over anything. My mission is to keep the first post updated with the most recent and accurate information so that it's easy to find without having to scroll through multiple pages of pictures, time slips, mod discussions, etcetera.

Hello everyone. Darrin here, on FB I'm Sir-William Dee and everywhere else @awdgt2. I was chatting with Charles about my new list and I'd like to give some unsolicited recommendations. First, having kept the Stinger list for over a year I've learned a ton about management and administering it. I only came here to offer assistance, if you guys are good with your system then super cool !
OK, I see you're using the template I used on StingerForum.org. It's OK but a nightmare to upkeep, TRUST ME.
1. Chasing guys down for the proper information is a PITA
2. Flipping through pages and pages of thread posts is a PITA
3. To be on this list you force folks to register an account
4. There's not necessarily a format for modification

I Could go on but my point is I bought and built stingertop20.com and made provisions for a real official G70 list. Yes, it's already built and there are already a few guys on it. It gives us 3.3TT a public presence and the submit form is pretty slick. It categorizes everything and making updates is nothing more than editing an excel sheet. It takes me literally a fraction of the time, and gives the whole Track result theme a new meaning.
One sticking point, No dragy. Sorry, Dragy has a leaderboard and leaderboards don't accept paper. It is what it is so if the G70 crew wants to go forward with the website cool, If you want to keep Dragy's on your list then the website isn't for you and I'm 100% OK with that. I'll delete the G70 list and just keep the Stinger one.

With that said, if you guys are in, then I'd like to make a trusted individual an Admin (or two) to keep your list up to date. It's super simple, I would share a file with you, when you edit it, it dynamically updates on the website, that's it.
I hope you don't take this as barging in but it would be cool to have all the 3.3tt in one location.

Thanks for your input, Darrin. I've enjoyed watching the list grow and change on the Stinger forum!

With regards to "no Dragy," I for one will never go to a drag strip. I just have no interest in taking the time to do it. A Dragy has shown on numerous occasions to be extremely accurate, if not a touch slower than actual dragy strip times. It's fine you don't want it on your list... your list, your rules. I vote it stays here though.
