Yesterday I called the dealer closest to my house. I did not buy from this dealer as they had no used G70s that I wanted. We've had previous experience with this dealer having a difficult time getting our Santa Fe serviced (which was purchased there).
I was trying to schedule a service to have my rattling moonroof repaired. Nothing urgent but I never got that far. I was asked my name to which I replied I'm not in their system. I was then informed that they're not taking any new clients until January 1 of next year. I was forwarded to the guy I'm supposed to speak with who handles new clients but only got his voicemail.
There's only one other dealer within a reasonable distance. I called and had to leave a voicemail. I haven't heard back and I'm not wondering if I will. I'm sure glad I don't have an urgent need for service. I can't help but assume these dealers are refusing to pay techs what they're worth.
