  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2010 without the Tech Package. I noticed that not all my contacts from my Blackberry are transferring to my car’s Bluetooth. I have reset it a couple of times but still no luck. Now I know that I have a lot (over 600), but does anybody know if there is a limit or some secret way?

I thought our tech package didn't support phonebook transfer.
What kind of phone are you using?

I have a 2009 nontech and I thought it didn't do phonebook transfer at all. Is this a 2010 feature, or did I miss something in the manual? 600 contacts is a cr_pload to transfer. Seems like it would take a while.

I have 2010 3.8/Tech and my phone is Blackberry 9700 Bold on Telus provider here in Mtl, NO TRANSFER. And that's with my son's trying, a computer genius involved with telephone usage. So I just manually entered the 20 or 30 numbers and away I go.

Oops, my bad... I thought he had the tech pack.
Again, like Disaster says, I never knew the Genny(no matter which package) had the phonebook transfer feature.

Its not that it takes a while but it only does some of them and not always the same ones. It does do about 60 to 70%.

Is it something I should mention to the dealer or can I ask Hyundai directly somewhere online?

I have a 2010 3.8/non-tech using a HTC Incredible. When I pair the phone it will transfer around 50-60% of my contacts then decide that is enough. Voice command has also decided that it does not need to recognize my wife but it can recognize every one else. Anyone?

I also have a 2010 3.8 (premium) non-Tech, and was unaware that it had any phonebook capability at all. Did the phone transfer the phonebook automatically upon pairing or did you have to do anything specific to make that happen?

Finally, how do you go about accessing the phonebook without the Tech menus?
