I’ve been a fly on the wall for a bit now but I finally bit the bullet and purchased a 2015 5.0 with 64k on the clock. I had a 2012 base sedan with the 3.8 which was a fantastic car. It was approaching 140k and had no issues but I traded that in for a 2015 TLX V6 fwd with 58k miles and what a mistake that was. Within a week that car was in the shop for both back wheel bearings, zf9 shifting issues, and a chatter under the hood while at a stop in gear. The software update did improve the zf9 for a bit then it went right back to its old habits. Also I hated having to rev 1st to 3500rpm just to keep up with traffic from a stop. For a 295hp V6 it sure felt like a 4 cylinder. The chatter did come back and it was coming from the transmission. Dumped the car and now here I am…got more for the trade than what I originally purchased it for. Please Genesis gods, forgive me for the betrayal. Don’t plague me with electrical gremlins that’s in the 2015.
