  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Average age of Genesis owners?

37. But I rented a Hyundai Genesis about 10 years ago for a work road trip, when it was 375ish hp. I fell in love instantly and told myself then that one day I would have a Genesis.

Cool, a 5 year old thread resurrected. I'm 66 and our 2015 ultimate bought as a cpo in 2018 is a fantastic car. I can see why this sedan attracts a broad spectrum of car lovers from 16 to 104 years old.

62 and my right foot acts like it's in its 20's also, especially in "sport or sport+" mode. But my left foot is always complaining that my right foot is having all the FUN!

GV80 3.5T, age 81 but an old drag racer over 55 years ago. I had a Chev powered Anglia that did the 1/4 mile in 10.5 seconds. I loved RPMs, come off the line at 8-9,000 RPM and shift at 9500-10,000.. I would love a higher stall speed torque converter in the GV80, but I completely enjoy my vehicle.

Love those old Anglia dragsters! I'll bet you've got some great stories to tell. 😊

69. I am not old until my next birthday.

I am 80 as of Feb. And I bought my 2012 Genesis Nov. 2011.

I am in my 40's. The age of Genesis owners with probably vary based on the model as well. I am certain G70 owners will probably be younger than the G80 and G90 owners as an whole.

20 years ago I would not be driving a G80 for sure, I would be more inclined to owning a G70 3.3T modded out and dropped. Now, my lower back and long commute requires a bit more comfort while still being able to have some fun every now and then with the 5.0 Ultimate on some open roads in sport mode. However, I am not to the point of driving a G90 yet which means no more real joy riding.

60 here, but my right foot act's like it's in it's 20's sometimes
Would it be save to assume, in those days, your right foot received a greater share of your testosterone overproduction and between the brake and gas petal it favoured the accelerator ?

Yes, exactly that !!

I was 35 when I got my 2015 5.0L, traded it in for a 2020 G90 5.0L at 41.

Wondering as to the average age of Genesis owners...young,middle age,older.......REALLY OLD!!
From the posts of those doing mods I'm thinking early 30s to mid 40s
Just really curious!😏

I use to race a Henry J, with a punched out 283 Chevy midship in car.

I wonder how many people have no idea what a Henry J is.

… and, IIRC, that you used to be able to buy one through the Sears catalog.

As a 62 year old, I had to look it up - cool looking car! I bet it was the ultimate sports car in it's day.
