  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Gv70 Show off your Mods to date.....

Do you have an Android phone? Would be good to know if you can get full screen Android Auto with this, since the GV70 does full screen carplay but not full screen Android Auto. That alone might make it worth it for the people using Android Auto.
I do have a android phone and I’ll have to check that , main reason I use it for is I have the ability to install any playstore app which we can’t do with android auto or CarPlay, the apps are very limited ,with this can install web browsers , navigation apps, live tv apps , radio apps , and install any app you want really , also the video in motion option is good and screen mirroring and wireless CarPlay or android auto, plus you can put a dedicated SIM card in there for your internet or even calls and you can have your phone connected and the sim in the device so you can get calls on your device and the phone and can answer the calls from the steering wheel button or use the touch screen or controller knob in the centre console

A wider shot or video of Android Auto in action is sincerely appreciated. The majority of Android Auto users here just want a map that takes full advantage of a wide display.

Which system do you have installed on your GV70?

Just wheels and tires so far.....They offered to paint the brake calipers red for only 200 bucks.....Kinda wish I did it in hindsight but the car still looks sick with 22s and nice wide 265 tires.

I have the one in the link below which is great and octa core but the other 2 are newer and support hdmi out and upgraded android , if I was to buy one then I would buy the octa core one with hdmi out and SIM card slot which is android 10, the other one has hdmi and android 11 but it’s got quad core cpu which means it won’t be as fast

Aleon - How has the ride been with the springs. Any issues with active suspension or mode changes. What did you pay for install. Thanks.

Yo, yea the ride had been great nothing change as far as suspension goes. Highly recommended...I pay no more than 400 bucks, including tax and shipping.

Thanks. From the pics it looks like you are in So Cal. If so have you found any good shops for mods on GV70. It looks like you did the install yourself. I will need a shop.

Simple mod, mudflaps (the dirt on car was pre-install). These are not the OEM ones, they were purchased on ebay. No drilling needed, 10 minutes to attach all 4.

Going to put it up in a few... need to edit it for posting.....if u decide to mess with it... watch some YouTube video that show some techniques on liners....make sure you use the proper tools to pop the clips... Get plastic liners removal kit.
Still waiting for that video

Go to a professional I would say. Its a bit hard pullin those liners and setting up the wiring. So you definitely dont want to mess it up.

I am a professional hahaha. I got it all worked out though. Just wanted to see what color wires he tapped into, but I figured that out as well… for premium audio the lexicon amp is on the back passenger side back quarter panel in the trunk.…. Locate black harness “left sub” white - black wires pins 1-2 and “right sub” Green - Orange wires pins 16-17. Tapping into those lines, ran power from battery and ran a fuse tap for remote turn on from the left quarter panel. “Using kicker keyloc loc” tapped the “Wiper blade” fuse. Now to tune shit and get the amp wires ran.

Can you give an update on the springs? How are they holding up? Any issues etc…also was a regular wheel alignment needed or did you have to go to the dealer to re-calibrate everything?

Thanks in advance!
