  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Circle Plans

Looking to make your Genesis unique? Look no further than KDM Warehouse - where orders are shipped immediately!
How plentiful are 2022 G70s at dealers now? My 2020 was ordered in first quarter of 2019 and came in to my dealer Nov 2019. Car hit my dealer before circle pricing was fully available. We got firm circle pricing about a week after car arrived at my dealer. 2020’s were slow to hit Texas so 2020 G70s were slow to be available on circle plan pricing here. I could see circle pricing for California 2020 G70s for they got some of the earliest ones before I could see any in Texas. I guess what your saying is no 2022 circle pricing shows up anywhere at all right now? Genesis would have to tell us when they plan to get circle pricing fully available.
My company offers Circle A plan. But I do not see any 2022 vehicles in the plan. There are some 2021 G80/G90. Do you think we will get 2022 G70 soon on this.
CarGurus.com will tell you how many days on lot cars are 2022 g70s are about 10-20 days on lot and about a dozen of them near me. There aren't many 2022 g80s that have even made it to dealers yet so it's hard to tell how long they are staying around.

When Hyundai cancelled A plans in March '21 they sold 160k cars that month with supply shortages. This has gone down to 92k and 99k in November and December respectively. As long as demand goes down or maintains and they don't artificially keep short supply, they will bring back A plan. I am also waiting. I've been waiting sooo long to buy a g70 sport prestige. They now have a g80 sport prestige that I am very interested in if one ever makes it to a lot for me to test. I am hoping buying a g70/g80 and a gv80 at the same time will get me some additional negotiation power as well.

I was also interested in G80 Sport, but apparently they won't hit the shores untill summer, so I pivoted toward G90. Less demand and higher inventory.

I've been seeing some G90 inventory in the Chicago area. Have you talked to any dealers to see if they are discounting them much?

Yes there are. Not in high demand I hear. Waiting for a few replies on low ball offers on 22s. The release announcement of 23s will accelerate that I suppose. And of course, the Circle program!!!

I have tried to join the thinktank and the survey group with no avail. Other than having someone generously provide a cert is the Circle plan a dead end? It seems should just give up and take the market for where it is now or scale back the trim I was wanting as dealers in the west coast (not really close) are not wanting to talk much in regards to discounts.

I got lucky here, but was a one off. Either find a friend who is a Hyundai employee or wait it out. Demand is just too high and supply is low.

Hey I appreciate the quick reply, don't have much in the Hyundai group for connections but will do a final friend search out of my honda/toyota pals. I've been holding out for 3-4 years so at this point I am ready to buy and may jump at this deal in Nevada for MSRP.

Well if it's any consolation, I just picked up.a 21 G90 demo 10% under sticker no circle. Gotta be flexible I guess.

That's at least good to hear deals are being made. I'm not particularly picky just wanting the 3.3 any color and any interior 20-22. Coming from a 16' honda so anything would be an upgrade. Messed up not doing the lease/buy on a stinger gt 2 in 2020 when the rebate on the leases was about 12k. even with a lower trade value my OTD was around 25k or so on the $54k sticker for the one I wanted. I am looking at possibly doing a cross-country drive back or paying the $1000 to transport and flying in.

The new redesigned 23 G90 will be released this year. I'm sure the 22s will go on sale. That's if you want that model.

Hyundai finally released their Circle Plans today. May have to take another look.
Does anyone know how long I have to keep a vehicle purchased through circle plan before I can trade it in/sell it?

Uhh, this isn't necessarily factual, but. Hyundai Circle A has the 2023 G70 and GV80 listed as options. Typically cars that aren't eligible aren't list, for instance the 23' GV60 is out and has inventory but is not listed. It will be interesting to see if certs can be created when inventory starts flowing in.

Only Z plans on some models.
My wife and I were able to pick up a 2022 G70 Sport Prestige two weeks ago on the E plan. We reached out to several dealerships and found one that would take the certificate but asked for a pay stub from Hyundai as proof of employment. It seems like they were honoring it to current employees but it's probably based on the salesperson you get that day.
