Nice, I almost got one last week it was a loaner with 2600 miles on it the paint was scratched and chipped, interior was a mess, bubbled tint, scratched plastic trim. They wanted to sell it over MSRP, I asked for $5500 off their asking which would have still been over invoice, they said no... I walked. It makes me want it even more though. My wife and I were able to pick up a 2022 G70 Sport Prestige two weeks ago on the E plan. We reached out to several dealerships and found one that would take the certificate but asked for a pay stub from Hyundai as proof of employment. It seems like they were honoring it to current employees but it's probably based on the salesperson you get that day.
What's interesting about the plans and dealers I ask if they are accepting Z (not that I qualify directly), but they always lie and say no when you can see all the certs that they have redeemed at that dealer and the dates they redeemed them.
It's sad that dealers and their sales people are so dishonest, and it has gotten much more exaggerated with them being in a position of leverage during these shortages. They continue to refuse certificates based on 'policy' after Hyundai starts offering them.
@BobbyS Correct me if I am wrong, dealers have to accept these certificates. Whether it be A, Z, E, etc. any plans that are part of an agreement are required to be honored by Hyundai and thus the dealers. ie, a negotiated contract between Hyundai and a vendor or built into your employment terms. I vaguely recall on the certificates or somewhere in the process there being a disclaimer to call the Hyundai Circle team if there were any issues redeeming the certificate.
