GV60 Canadian Deposit - Local Dealer Information & Timelines

I have the same bad feeling that, despite my Feb 8th pre-order, my actual order from the dealership isn't in yet, hence no number. Yesterday they reached out to me asking to "confirm". Uh oh. Genesis Canada told me nothing.

Your dealer / salesperson should have access to the system which indicates build number of the pre-order. See example snip below

Two hours after the call to Genesis, received an email from the dealer with my VIN number and approx. early/mid July delivery.

I was told by my dealer that my car is due t their dealership in Toronto on June 27 yet he insisted he doesn’t have the VIN yet.

No, still not there. Although, I have a screenshot from the dealer with my name, address, vehicle details and VIN number

Just got a call from my dealer with a VIN. Car has arrived in Vancouver, 3-5 week delivery time to Waterloo Ontario. Mauna Red / Black Performance. Ordered on April 1st, I believe I was around 250 in the queue.

Last week I was told that the build date would be sometime in 2023, this week it is here and making its way across the country. Super excited but there is a massive lack of any real clarity on timelines / status.

Just another data point for everyone trying to figure out timing.

Dealers are probably more on the conservative side with the delivery dates.
Last vehicle carrier from Ulsan, Korea arrived in BC on June 5.

I‘ve got delivery scheduled for Friday. Insurance is lined up, and I got the setup info for Genesis Connected, so can see the location and status of the car.
Has anyone else made it to this stage yet?

Yeah should be taking delivery this Sunday. Matte white on white interior

Pretty sure that's what we're expecting atm. Advanced models will come later. Unless the information some of us have been told is inaccurate. Which (let's be honest) could very well happen.

Man I can't get a hold of anyone at the dealership in Toronto regarding my order... just brutal customer service. Emails/texts/phone calls and no one gets back to me days later.

I feel bad for you. My GEM responds to emails within minutes and is a genuinely nice guy.

He said that Genesis is flying a bunch of them to Niagara for an in-depth couple of days with the GV60, so I anticipate the knowledge level among to the GEM's will notch up a bit next week.

Calgary - currently there's only a single dealer in Calgary, but apparently there's going to be one on the south side opening up.

I think I may have mentioned this a couple of weeks ago, but in case I didn't, while Performance models have indeed been "prioritized", Advanced models are still being delivered. Mine is due to arrive Friday (at dealership in Montreal) and I will likely pick it up early next week as I will be away this weekend.

Also for what it's worth, if you are in Quebec (or elsewhere) and trying to track your car with the VIN on Hansen's, it really is hit or miss and dependent on when they choose to update it. Even knowing that my car was in Canada last week, the website still showed no results when I searched. It was only recently that it updated and now indicates the car's location and delivery ETA. It appears that at least in my case, until it arrived in Quebec, no information was available.
