I find salespeople are pretty good during test drives, they seem most interested in having you follow a specific route. Aside from directions and responding to questions I asked, mine had little to say.Mine as well, but he's too busy, and I am still trying to have my test drive.
His dealer doesn't allow going test drive alone.
I don't like sale rep to come with me, because he's train to make all those sale pitch. Psychological, i prefer to test it myself, with no one with me drive around. Plus, 0-100, will be slower with two people on baord.
Who cares about the additional weight, unless your accelseration test is instrumented the difference will be virtually unnoticeable. Besides, we’ve seen what the car can do 0-60 from reports and videos, and a couple tenths here or there is irrelevant. Who’s going to walk from a sale because they experienced a 4.1 sec. 0-60 when they should have got 4.0?
