Rear debadge pictures

I removed the G70 3.3t and Genesis logos. Seems to look clean. I want it to be less identifiable when I'm driving like an a*****e.

Just curious, how did you remove them - with floss or something similar? Looks like they are sticky-taped on there.

Also, have you considered adding a wing emblem back there sort of like the pre-2022 models?

That's exactly what I'll do my future 3.3T SP, BUT I'll add the wing emblem of previous years. Looks too plain like that. I always remove all letters from my vehicles, but always like a logo in the middle. I'll just buy one (an OEM), but need to find out where is cheapest. I just need to find a damn car first. None available until the end of the month, if at all. We'll see. What will complicate things is I want the lighter interior, which is not that common.

I agree and probably why Genesis put the lettering back there. I put a '21 wing where the letters were.

I considered breaking them off with pliers but the entire emblem is just plastic so I was concerned that I might crack or damage the emblem with pliers. If you have a coping saw or some other small saw you might try that and then sand it smooth afterwards but again it is just plastic so you would need to be careful. Another option might be to try a large drill and drill it down to a level where you can then sand it flush.

Will just use the Dremel with a cutting wheel then. Then grind below flush level, for an interference-free fit. Thank you.

Yesterday, a dark grey 2022 G70 passed me. Something was different. I realized the only badging was the Genesis Wing. The Genesis name, and AWD 3.3 had been removed.

It was very eye catching. I am considering the same, but have no idea how to remove existing badges, and finding the wing badge.

The emblems/badges come off easily with some dental floss using a sawing action. Clean up 2 face tape residue with your fingernail and some isopropyl alcohol. There is a wide assortment of emblems available on the forum store - click on link bar at top of page. Some of those emblems come with small protrusions which will need to be removed with a dremel or filed down. Apply to trunk with 2 face tape that comes with emblem.

That was most likely me. I had this done by Genesis before they ceramic coated my car and delivered it.

Thanks Jeff. That really surprises me. I could get it done, and I have friends who can do it, but shit, I am almost 69 years old. Can I really get cool again by doing this?

Also, where are you that the dealer did that. Did they charge you, and if so, may I ask how much please? Oh wait, I did just ask you.

I am in Edmonton and had no issues with our dealer in getting this done for me. No charge but I put in this request as soon as they had a VIN number for me and well before delivery.

Hey, thanks jeff. I got mine out of Saskatoon. I'm now registered with the dealership at yeg, and I'm sure they would charge me an arm and leg at yeg. Lol. Which colour is your genesis?
