GV70 Daily Picture Thread

Hey everyone. Most forums I've been a part of have a daily photo thread for people to show their cars. Maybe it looked good in a parking lot - or you took a road trip and snapped a shot. I searched but didn't find any such thread so I figured why not make one and kick it off (If it exists and I just missed it apologies lol).

I will have finalized pictures by tomorrow once all the paint protection and cleaning has been completed. But here is my entry thus far after taking delivery, cleaning it up for the first time and starting the paint polishing and protection.

That is actually the sticker/film that was installed in the factory. When I took deliver I was very clear to the dealer I didn't want them to wash the exterior or remove any film form the inside. I have the carpets floor mats in the car now, but those will be replaced with Manicci mats (black with white stitching) in a week or two once they show up.

If you want a very similar film, you can use this product. I normally use it on cars I detail when they have carpet mats to ensure once I have it clean it stays clean even if I only get into the car to move it.

It is. Pictures do not do the color justice. I picked the color without seeing it and second guessed several times and almost changed my selection twice. I am sooooo happy I stayed with the Seville Silver.

That’s what we have on order. My wife liked the green but dealer had a Seville Silver on lot and we changed our mind after seeing it. The color shown on the website doesn’t do it justice. We ordered the blue interior.

Thanks for sharing. My Manicci mats left the LA port Monday, so with any luck they might show up the end of this week.

I've thought about the need of possibly having winter floor mats and the Manicci mats for the summer time. My GV70 came with Genesis all season floor mats and like an idiot I sold them. I might buy a set of TuxMats for the winter once TuxMats are back in stock

Are the Manicci Mats custom for GV70? How is it kept in place? I see a button or something near the top right side. They look pretty good and may work well for Canadian winters against snow and salt stains. I was going to buy Tuxmats for winter. Do you have a link for the Manicci mats? Thanks.

This is the one I got. It seems customized for the GV70 (you have to tell them your make/model/etc). There are version with carpet on it that you can detach and clean.. these are probably better for winter.. but it does not look as nice.

Make sure to get "Clip and Velcro" it's an extra $11 CDN.. it really helps to keep them in place.

Congrats. Looks nice! Is the interior vanilla beige? The dealership I got mine from offered none of that show. I took an Uber to their show room, and barely drove it out of their tight space without scratching the car
