Nice! Does the ceramic coat change the texture of the matte paint at all?

I didn’t see the car before so hard to say. I would expect the feel of it to change, not the look. It’s really sharp looking with it on for sure.

Used gloss black vinyl tape available on Amazon, available in various sizes. Need to apply very slowly, had to do the curve in 2 pieces.

That looks great, I did the same chrome delete (matte black) with my Himalayan grey. I was able to keep the pillar the same color as it was already dark.

Can you share with us the part number of the black vinyl tape? Is it matte black? Thanks

There is no part number. I ordered gloss vinyl tape in sheets and strips from Amazon (check out "VViViD" brand, then cut and fit pieces and placed them onto the chrome trim pieces, masking the chrome. The large piece was cut to fit the "C" pillar area, then placed onto that area. There are no easily accessible auto custom shops around me, so I decided to do it myself!

Took delivery on Monday. Haven't had much time to do anything yet. Pulled a couple badges off (we need no stinking badges), ordered the Genesis logo in black, and some rear interior covers for the pups. This will haul 3 German Sheps (yes, user name checks out).

Pretty cool car so far. This is replacing a 19 Acura RDX A-Spec.
