  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Replace with high end LEDs like VLEDs Triton. I've put 3 years and 60,000 miles on mine with no issues.

Are these the one that fit? They show up as front turn bulbs. If I select DRL replacement it does not have any options. Thanks

Those should work fine - remember you might have to reverse the leads to the bulb (there's a plug about 5 inches back) on one or more of the lights. There are a few write ups about this on the forum -
You might not need resistors - mine doesnt.

Stop using them. I've never burnt a bulb in 5 years, same car. Its just a weak point.

I never use mine either. Been 3 1/2 years since I've replaced one.

Yes, the ones I linked are the correct ones. The Extreme are turn signal only, the regular are DRL rated and don't need a hyperflash module.

The ones you linked are not as bright as you want for DRL use, nor are they cooled for DRL use. They also don't seem to draw enough power to not need a hyperflash module.

Those look great - when mine burn up in a few months I'm going to order those. I wonder if I can get them without the resistor for cheaper-
edit: here they are: 50 LED HIGH VISIBILITY AMBER 1157
Those are not DRL rated- you can ask VLEDs support, but I think they'll also consider it a warranty voidance due to thermal limits. You likely won't need a resistor as they are 10 watt lamps, but 10w is a lot of heat to dissipate for a small volume like an 1157.

Only the Tritons are continuous duty rated, not the Triton Extreme line though. The amber Triton V6 is 12 watts (tapers to around 8 watts over time) per lamp and does not need a resistor pack on mine.
