I needed to bend the top hook a little more, to 90° or slightly more than the above pic.

You need to trim the little snap on part (it won’t fit under our display but the material is easily trimmed with a sharp utility knife), & you need to bevel the underside a bit to thin it for a better fit for the adhesive.

This part is the most complicated. There is a support notch cut in the bracket that doesn’t quite fit our display but gives the additional support from a little manhandling. I found a piece I could cut from one of the many phone holders I have, It’s just adding a small block for support. It’s pretty hard to see in the pic but it’s only about three quarters the width of the bracket, just gorilla glued in place.

The phone will be partially obscured by the steering
wheel but unless you have a massive phone there is a lot of room between the displays for it & it will not cover any of the visible areas.
