  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis GV70 Reviews

I guess you missed the second part cruskal where the author talks about Sport + Mode…since that seems to be the case, I thoughtfully copy & pasted it for you:

Sport+ For The Win

We've commented much on the GV70's interior and technology, and although we've written plenty about the way it drives, we haven't talked much about its Sport+ drive mode. Most of the time I don't switch out of Comfort mode, which keeps the suspension and steering relaxed, and the transmission and throttle mapping tamed. But Sport+ is a different animal. Traction control is turned off, the steering becomes sharper, the suspension turns firmer, and the transmission makes pronounced shifts. This drive mode makes the commute to work fun and lively, and the exhaust sound will make you think you're driving a sports car instead of a luxury SUV. Upshifts and downshifts are heard and felt inside the cabin, something that's hard to imagine given how smooth they are when Comfort mode is selected. In other words, Sport+ will turn a boring drive into a trip you'll be thrilled to take, and that's hard to do in a car that also aces comfort, luxury, and convenience. But that's another reason why the Genesis GV70 was our 2022 SUV of the Year, even if all of its features aren't entirely useful to everyone all the time.
Ah Thanks, I read that, wasn't sure if that was part of the long-term review as those comments are pretty much true when you start reviewing the car.
As for the smart park assist (through key), I've used it 5-6 times since my purchase and has been useful when someone parks near my car or I have put my baby in the car and there isn't enough space.

As I walked toward the 70 I see the doors are unlocked(mirrors unfolded)I thought it was unlocked overnight....... did not know it unlocks as I walk close to the doors. This has to stop.... It's out thinking me.

I like to think that my GV70 is waving hello/goodbye to me.

That's not the case. It unfolds the mirrors and turns on the welcome lights when you walk up, yes, but it doesn't unlock until you grab the door handle, if it didn't kachung when you grabbed the handle you left it unlocked lol.

Ok thanks. I’m learning fast. Tell me about passengers getting out of rear and can’t open the doors.

Pretty sure this thread is about GV70 reviews.
Am I off subject on this thread? …. “Where do I post for How To’s”. I don’t want to start a new thread each time…or should I?

That means you probably hit the child lock button on the drivers side arm rest. I have done that a couple of times now.

Got it...thank you

2 week review. I keep learning and loving it. It should be in the living room or rec room but my wife will not let me park it in the house. End of review. Thanks for reading.

Motor Trend names their GV70 Helga! And to on one’s surprise, the GV70 excels as a road tripper!

I'm pretty sure "Helga" is actually the name of his European friend who gave him "a massage every hour" during the trip. Lol

Week 3. Only complaint so far.... do not drive it enough... However every time I get in is day one.... that's the fun of it...to feel like that for years to comes.

Let's share any previews/reviews here (thanks to backslack for sharing this video in the other thread).

Pleasantly surprised at how roomy the back seat is. Strongly leaning towards getting this for the wife next year based on the info so far, just need the price for the 2.5T.
Why some android even when plug in won't work

GV70 when plug in my android said it does not work with the car, why

In most (not all) cases it is the cable. Especially with Samsung phones. They seem to be really particular about the quality of the cable used.
