It is quite amazing the lengths that Lexus/Toyota fanboys will go to to either defend their purchase or bash other brands.
There are many, many posts of Genesis owners on this board that have said they have had no issues with their vehicle but, fanboys (trolls) will come on and bash Genesis (oh wait they call them Hyundai's. They don't however call Lexus Toyotas. Go figure). There are also many that have posted about getting poor service as well as good service from Hyundai dealerships. Same goes for standalone Genesis dealers. But good or bad, it doesn't matter to these people. They will simply state with no evidence that they are all bad. It's a Genesis or Hyundai so, it is not possible to get service. Plus look at the line of people waiting to get service done.
I have gone to the Lexus dealership to pick up my daughter who had an es350 F sport and shockingly there was a long line waiting to check in for service. I also brought my granddaughter's Toyota in for service and again, shockingly, there was a long line for service. Boy these dealers must have been running specials on
wheel balancing because they couldn't possibly be in for service because someone has had 3 Lexus and never had any issues with any of them.
I also love the fact that the ones who bitch the most are usually ones who have never owned one. The old "I've heard" argument.
And I guess only Genesis owners are "thin skinned". Even though not just here but on other forums or comments in youtube videos if Lexus/Toyota owners talk about nightmares with their vehicles, just like above, Lexus/Toyota owners will say well I've had # (any number they feel like adding) of them and they have been perfect so therefore those complaining are a one off issue because their experience is not what everyone else's is even though they have zero proof other than well my vehicles have been perfect.
Sorry but maybe someone could explain to me what all these recalls are for?
Bottom line imo is all vehicle brands will have a percentage of sold ones that have issues. But don't tell that to Toyota or Lexus owners because those vehicles are perfect. The service departments are just for show I guess and aren't really necessary. The techs just sit around and play on their phones all day, that is, unless they are dealing with recalls.
