You'll probably have to flip them like I did. When I lined up the dots I got the same codes like you but after I flipped them I was good. I'll try and take a picture in the morningFirst report no goodFollowed instructions, but in their pics, the âwhite dotsâ on the beta version (donât have clips yetâ, arenât clear. Hooked them up and through all kinds of engine codes. Took it all off for now, and over night, engine light cleared. Scared me into almost returning it, but going to reach out to the company for extra guidance
How was your experience so far with JB4? any boost cuts? feel the difference? I had one for 3 years on my G70 and it made so much quicker. You'll probably have to flip them like I did. I like it and haven't had any issues other than when I was trying to hook it up. Once I got it up and running it's been good. How was your experience so far with JB4? any boost cuts? feel the difference? I had one for 3 years on my G70 and it made so much quicker.
Here you go, starting from top to the bottom, this is how mine is setup.First report no goodFollowed instructions, but in their pics, the âwhite dotsâ on the beta version (donât have clips yetâ, arenât clear. On the last pic, itâs hard to see, is the white dot up or down? Here you go, starting from top to the bottom, this is how mine is setup.
the white dot is up and on the same side as the gray connector clip.On the last pic, itâs hard to see, is the white dot up or down?
i dont want to leave you hanging, i dont have the gv70 anymore. So how has this been long term? Thinking about getting a GV and tuning it.
If you had to venture a guess, what kind l of real world 0-60 improvements did you see using just premium 91? I'm guessing you were predominantly using Map 1 as your daily map?i dont want to leave you hanging, i dont have the gv70 anymore.
when i traded the car in i had between 20-25000 miles and i had the jb4 for a lot of it. it was good while i had it. you may want to go over to the n54 forum to see if there was anymore development on it tho. good luck
*i havent had it since spring/summer of 2022 so def check to see if there's been any updates
The best I got was 4.7 on 0-60. I was on map 1 and 93 hasIf you had to venture a guess, what kind l of real world 0-60 improvements did you see using just premium 91? I'm guessing you were predominantly using Map 1 as your daily map?
I experience the same jerkiness even in map 1 (running 93 octane) when the car hasnât warmed up completely. Even 1/2 throttle it will buck 3-4 times while accelerating. Once it warms up completely, I donât experience the jerkiness. Never had this issue on my 3.3t Stinger w/JB4 map 2.As of now, there is no way to do some hard pulls (WOT) to see 0-60 or 0-~100. When the car is in Map 2, it kind of "waves" while accelerating. It isn't smooth.
I already talk to Terry last week; sent him bunch of logs and he admitted there is something wrong. He didn't tell what's wrong, but they'll try to get the car to their shop and do some testing.

I went ahead and created a install vid of the JB4 in case anyone wants to see what is all involved. If I wasnât recording, I could have had this installed 30-45 mins. It was rather easy.
Sorry if it didnât come through, but I was agreeing with you that Burger Tuning needs to work on their tuning for both map1 & 2.There is more GV70 owners having the very same issue as I'm having. The car was warmed up and it still isn't smooth while WOT.
Have you tried like 0-90 with pedal to the metal? that's where the problem is.
I've had JB4 on my g80 sport 3.3tt for 3 years, ran Map2 on 93 and Map4 on e85+93 and never had a single problem. It was flawless.

Iâm only running map 1 since it doesnât seem like they have everything ironed out yet.
Yeah Iâm on there too. I posted my logs for Terry to see. The first log (running firmware from Burger) they said I needed to add E85 to the map1 tune running 93.I hope you follow the thread on N54 forum. There's another guy just started "poking" at them, lol post #69 and it doesn't look like Terry is answering him directly.

So I did some testing today, and I put the JB4 on map 0 (so JB4 is off) and I still have the surging when itâs cold. Not sure what could cause this. I may swap plugs and see if it clears up. Idk, kind of at a loss. At least I know that itâs not the JB4 causing this issue.I hope you follow the thread on N54 forum. When I do my pulls, the engine is always warm. No exceptions. And the "waving" is longer than what you have. I'll try to record it tomorrow, if not snowing. So I did some testing today, and I put the JB4 on map 0 (so JB4 is off) and I still have the surging when itâs cold. Not sure what could cause this.
