Looping back on the handling. I am certain that they tweaked both the suspension and ESC algorithms in this update.

Before the update, my GV60P in Eco or Comfort drive modes experiences significant body roll where the rear wheels become "squirrelly" as soon as I put down more than a moderate amount of power during or out of a curve. After the update, the body roll is now almost entirely gone, and the car is significantly more confident powering out of a curve than it has ever been before. It now has this sense of being laser focused on where you want the car to go that was simply not there before.

This is all in Eco and Comfort mode. I don't drive in Sport mode enough to be able to notice if there was incremental improvements there.

Overall, I'm extremely happy with this update. What do you all think?

Sport 4S). I got the update so I will try to see during the next week or two (after that I will have the new tires) how it feels and then how it feels with performance tires.

As an aside, it is interesting to me that there is no "comfort" mode to select although it does appear when one is selecting modes. I gather that the programmable mode is in its default position the comfort mode.

Change the theme to light or dark mode​

You can change the Android Auto theme. But now you can forcefully change the theme from your phone. To do this:

1. Open Android Auto on your phone.
2. Under Maps, tap Day/Night mode for maps.
3. Select Day or Night.
   
   
   
   
   

You can also set the day and night theme from your phone or in the car. To do this, you must enable developer mode and navigate to the developer settings.

1. Go to Developer settings (three-dot icon in Android Auto app).
2. Tap Day/Night.
3. Choose Car-controlled, Phone-controlled, Day, or Night.
   
   
   
   
   

Selecting the Car-controlled option means Android Auto will go into dark and light mode depending on the light conditions; if you're temporarily shifting between light and dark areas (tunnels, for example), it's better to avoid this altogether. Using Phone-controlled day and night mode means the theme matches your current phone's light and dark mode theme. Then, selecting day and night forces Android Auto to stick to one theme despite the conditions.

That's a weird bug. Well, maybe time to switch to an iPhone? They're offering some tempting deals on the new iPhone 16. Or else, only drive at night?

AFAIK, the instrument nav directions staying in dark mode is an intentional design decision by both Apple and Google. Most likely for the reason to reduce the distraction factor in the instrument panel.

Ironically, personally I think having a mismatched map style on both screens is more distracting than allowing the users to choose between light vs dark mode in the instrument cluster.

I therefore set my Apple Maps to always show dark mode to avoid the mismatched screen styles, even as I prefer the light map during the day.

When using BT connection previously (non-AA) the next track/with graphics would pop on the HUD. I'm generally not an AA user, so maybe it's never done this. I did verify that the media content is checked to be included in the HUD display settings.

AFAIK, the instrument nav directions staying in dark mode is an intentional design decision by both Apple and Google. Most likely for the reason to reduce the distraction factor in the instrument panel.

Just tested while idling (ha!) in my garage. There's no Spotify info on the HUD at all. Google Maps directions do display, but not Spotify unless there's a setting I have to change somewhere...

I believe all three already had AA/CP. An Ioniq 6 owner last year told me they had it from the start. So glad we got it. Love the HUD integration.

Just discovered that if I manually advance the track w/the optical pad then the track info does display. If I allow the track to advance normally on its own, next track info isn't displayed.

I don't think it is wireless for them. Supposedly it's only native for the most recent EVs which were the EV9 and the Kona. All others are still wired.

I double checked this afternoon - I'm seeing the same display mode on both screens in my GV60. In the daytime they are both light, after sunset they are both dark mode. It all happens automatically. So for some reason it's not showing mismatched screens like the i3 picture you posted. Maybe there is some setting that I have that is different, but it's not something I did intentionally.
