Hi, hoping this is the correct forum for question - new to the brand and trying to figure this out & dealer is stumped. 1st of all, Im happy to have a manual and to be able to download a .pdf also. Porsche didnt even have a full manual for our last car - 2024 Cayenne. Soooo, question on the driver side door memory buttons, 1 & 2. Ours dont seem to work and I was wondering if anyone else is having issues or knows of issues? Example - if my wife drives under her profile and with her key, and the next day I get in with my key , the seat moves for comfort entry and I get in and press no. 2 for my setting and it goes to her setting. We've double checked the programming and cleared and reset more than once and the buttons do not seem to work either way when swapping from driver 1 to 2 or 2 to 1.
We've also done the seat memory reset procedure according to manual, reset the positions more than once and no good. Just came from the dealer and demonstrated for them as they weren't able to offer any solutions over the phone. They said there seems to be an issue and gave us an appointment for the beginning of December.
Anyone have any suggestions if there is anything we can try to get them to work? Its my understanding that we should be able to have them hold the seat settings for individual drivers as programmed by making the necessary seat adjustments & exterior mirrors then pressing and releasing Set button then either 1 or 2 button according to which is being saved: We did this:
Storing Memory Positions
1. Make sure the Engine Start/Stop button is in the ON position and the gear is in P (Park).
2. Adjust the driver's seat or front passenger's seat, side view mirror, steering wheel, and head-up display to the desired position.
3. Press the SET button. The system beeps once and "Press button to save settings" appears on the infotainment system.
4. Press one of the memory buttons (1 or 2) within 4 seconds. The system beeps twice when successfully stored.
5. "Driver 1 (or 2) settings saved" appears on the infotainment system.
Recalling Memory Positions
1. Make sure the Engine Start/Stop button is in the ON position and the gear is in P (Park).
2. Press the desired memory button (1 or 2). The system beeps once, and then the seat position, side view mirror position, steering wheel position, and head-up display position are automatically adjusted to the stored positions.
3. "Driver 1 (or 2) settings applied" appears on the infotainment system.
