  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

BIG NEWS! There is a TSB that fixes 2017-2019 G90 Connected Services

So the same thing has been happening to me and my car has been here for almost that long as well. There is a external antenna buried in the dashboard that might be the issue. This antenna isn’t listed on a service bulletin anywhere and a lot of dealerships or service techs don’t even know it exist. They put these in the 18 and 19 model years
I did I test today with the dealership and everything seemed to work after 5 months of being there . Fingers are crossed that that’s what the problem was.
does the antenna not exist in 2017? and what is the fix?

Very possible that it does however you need to determine if you have a 3g or 4g head unit
Most 17 model years have the 3g and you’re out of luck
Mid year 2018 they went into the 4g Harmon units and placed an external antenna somewhere in the dash behind the radio. That is ,or I hope now , was the culprit the whole time after 2 head units, a taken down head liner for wire checks, A pillar covers dismantled , 2 brand new dead batteries in 5 months at the dealer!
If this works congrats to the folks who fixed it!
Stay tuned

My G90 has 4G. It's not the issue. So I need to remove the radio and find this antenna? And do what? My screen was changed last year, maybe that caused it.

BIG NEWS!

All these problems are a thing of past now! The April 2025 software update, which I found out a few weeks ago, solves the Genesis Connected Services issue. After almost 2 years, everything works on my 2017 G90.

Recommend everyone to go to Genesis update site. Just use a USB disk to download and install. It takes about 2 hours.
