At 32000 km after three years, the stock tires (255/40R21 Michelin Primacy Tour A/S) on my Performance model GV60 are worn out. I have never gone through a set of tires so quickly.
I live on the rainy north-west coast of Canada. Most years there is snow on the ground for a few days. Last winter there was no snow at all. During rare winters there is snow for several weeks or more.
I am looking at three replacement tire options:
Michelin Crossclimate 2
Michelin Primacy Tour A/S
Nokian Surpass AS01
Concerns I have are road noise, effect of the tires on range, and safety in the rain / avoiding hydroplaning, less important is snow performance but it will be nice to have good snow performance the odd time when it it needed. The Nokians are significantly less expensive and seem well-reviewed but currently I can't find them in stock.
Any advice based on others' experience would me much appreciated.
