2019 3.3T here, and I just started getting the dreaded oil pressure light at idle at 70k miles. Oil level is fine, and I am fairly sure it is just the sensor as the car is running like new, and I also read the extensive posts on the Stinger forums about this. I do want to check the pressure just in case.
I am wondering if anyone has gotten Genesis to fix this under the powertrain warranty? It seems so annoying that there is a warranty extension for this very issue for this engine on some Kia's, but nothing for the G70/Stinger. I have had very bad experiences with all Genesis dealers in this area, so I know already what the outcome will be - they will charge $200 for the diagnostic and deny coverage. Should I just go to an independent shop, keep driving, or fight with the dealer/corporate on this?
I would also add, that I likely will not buy Genesis product again, mainly due to the atrocious dealer treatment from the very start.
