  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi dere, :o I'm 90 days into my 11 Genesis Sedan (w/ tech package) and my 6 disk DVD changer will only play 1 disk unless I manually change the disk. The maintenance people think this might be the way it should be. I don't. Anyone one out there got any ideas. Thanks for any help. :)

Normal, not broken. Should be called a player, not a changer.

Sorry I took so long to get back to you, I truly do appreciate your answers. Has anyone notified the powers that be, that internal storage of disks does not a changer make? My XG-350 had a player up front and an 8 disk changer in the trunk (that really changed the disks, among other things). Thanks again for your responses:)http://genesisowners.com/hyundai-genesis-forum/images/smilies/smile.gif

I was wondering about this too. I like to play audiobooks and it doesn't go to the next CD. My old car handled that just fine but the Genesis doesn't seem to have that feature. I do use an ipod as an alternate for tunes and books, but I expect the CD player to work as a changer.

Here is the reason why it is NOT a CD CHANGER. It plays DVD's too. End of story.

This is a feature built in to when a DVD ends, it doesn't go to the next DVD or CD. It is only a CD player and has no changer function built in by design.
