So, a little back story. Not really a big deal, but customer service everywhere is getting crappy. It could have been the service advisor that maybe didn't tell the technician to do what I had asked, or the technician totally forgot about it.

Anyways, when I get the text from the service advisor about how everything went the following day, I told him about the tire pressures. I had three tires @37psi and one tire at 35psi. He writes back about 10 minutes later stating that those are "within the 40psi requirements" and that 35psi for the front and 37psi for the rear is acceptable.
LMFAO
Ummmm,.....yeah. LOL
Not even close. Not a real big deal, but since I was taking it in, I figured it would only take them a few minutes to air up to proper psi while the car was up in the air, draining the oil. Oh well, too bad.
Sounds like a canned response that didn't require much thought. As if you were just asking whether or not the PSI was okay. It would have been pretty easy to fill the tires... Either way, it's kinda crappy customer service. Though it sounds like a one-off experience for you at your local Genesis dealership - so far...

I agree with everything you said here.
I'm not pissed about it, but it would have been nice to have it done since they had the car in the air and waiting for the oil to drain out of the pan and oil filter area. I would think something like that would be standard procedure anyways, but I guess not.

Probably something Lexus would do without being asked... Genesis really does need to do stuff like this. People talk, and good word of mouth is better than bad or none...

I went through the touchless car wash today. I had to, it was bothering me something fierce. lol
It's been about a month since it's last wash, plus we had snow, salt and chemicals on the roads. It's not the best wash, but it does what it has to do.

It looks clean to me! ...and that's what counts. :p

Went through the touchless car wash this morning. It's nice and sunny today, but tomorrow is calling for rainy weather, but I wanted to get all the crud and salt/chemicals off. These touchless washes do an "okay" job. Can't wait to give her a nice hand wash.
It's been a little less than three years, but I still love this car.

I forgot to post this last week, but I sent in a HUGE check for the payoff on my '23 G70 Sport Prestige. Very happy with the car. Just got my last free oil change. Lease ends on July 3rd, 2026.
I wouldn't mind a beautiful GV70 though.

That's a heck of a feeling, huh? No more payments... But yeah - I know what you mean. The GV70 is quite nice. And kind of a naturally progression from the G70. But it all depends on (I think) if you prefer the lower seating position to the higher one. And then there's the versatility of the hatch... What are ya gonna do? :p

Thanks.
I'm going to keep the G70. Low miles, great shape and save some money.
