  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Well as I mentioned in a previous post, I did not care for the stock Dunlop tires for diriving in snow. I bought Bridgestone Blizzaks and put them on my stock wheel. I'm now looking for new wheels to put on in the Spring. I want to use the Dunlops so I need 18". I don't want alot of Bling, as this is a family sedan and I also don't want to break the bank. The two wheels that I'm looking at are the Maxxim Allegro and the Moda MD8. Any options, experience, or (reasonabley priiced) suggestions would be appreciated.

I just took my Blizzaks off for spring (I know - the eternal optimist). The Blizzaks were great in snow, but on bare pavement they're pretty noisy and a little squirrely handling. I left the OEM Dunlops on the OEM wheels - it's a pleasure to drive with summer tires again. I use Bremmer Kraft BR05's for the snow tires (see photos in my album). I like the way they look, and they were not overly expensive.

Did you use factory TPM's? I see there are aftermarkets on Ebay. I bought another set of factory wheels, to mount snow tires, but need TPM's. Looking also for TPM cost. Im also going to be looking for a set of snow tires. The choices are endless, but dont want to spend an arm and leg on tires Im just gonna run in snow.

I bought the Bremmer Kraft's from TireRack with TPMS installed.
