Good Day. For the past year i have been thinking about buying a hyundai genesis . at first i thinking about buying a 2012. but now im thinking more about the price of the car. the only two option that i need is a Nav system and the Xenon head light. but with hyundai to get these i have to up grade to the tech package and i don't want to spend about $ 41,000. Im trading in my 2005 nissan maxima. and with nissan to get those two must have i would have to spend around $ 34,000. so with my point now made i would like to know with the 2012 almost on the lot what are people paying for a genesis with the tech package in the south ? with the 3.8 or the 4.3

sounds like you need a '12 3.8 tech. i am sure you would pay less down there than up here. i could get a 3.8 tech here for $36k without much haggling. another thing is Nissan has nothig in there lineup that comes close to this car. Infiniti does but you know how much they are for somethin comparable lol.. good luck you can't go wrong with this car, especially not a '12 3.8 given it's new mechanical upgrades.

According the the CW here, you can get a 4.6 for 36xxx.

I thought I'd get a 3.8 but I only drove the 4.6 after I drove it there was no need to try out the 6 cyl.
I also came from a Maxima, mine was an 09 SV Although Nissan must be hurting, because I could lease a new completely loaded max for the cost of my 09 with everything but nav.

Get the Genny. It is way more car.
